Congratulations to OPENAIR: The Operational Network of Air Quality Impact Resources, the winner of the Healthy Planet, Healthy People Award at the 35th National Banksia Sustainability Awards, announced last night at the presentation held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In collaboration with NSW Department of Planning and Environment, NSW Smart Sensing Network, Australian National University, University of Sydney, Western Sydney University and University of NSW. The Operational Network of Air Quality Impact Resources (OPENAIR) empowers local councils to combat air pollution by providing Australia’s first common method for using low-cost smart sensors to measure air quality.
It is an outstanding achievement, and we thank all the finalists and entrants. It is truly inspiring to learn about your hard work, dedication, and innovative approach to creating a healthy planet and healthy people.
