    Rolling Stone Magazine featured electronic music for the June - August 2025 edition for the first time.  In doing so, they recognised the top 50 artists who shaped and influenced the Australian Electronic Music genre and scene.

    Vision Four 5 is the Live/Recording 'band' name of the musical output from Dr Noel Burgess that commenced whilst completeing an undergratuate Bachelor of Music (Sonology) at the QLD conservatorium of music.  The band went on to release two albums 'Texture' (1993) and 'Humid' (1995) on the ground breaking and reputable Volition/Sony Music label.  The band's live performances integrated live digital video components and video-based interactive systems to control the music, sound, animation and lighting elements of the show and was an integral part of creating the 'Boiler Room' at the Big Day Out festival that toured Australia and New Zealand from 1994 - 2013.  Vision Four 5 led the way in electronic music and performance concepts and aesthetics for future generations of creators in the Australian cultural landscape, as acknowleged by the ranking of 21 in this list of 50.
