This subject prepares students for real-world policing by applying investigative functions, first responder tasks, and decision-making in dynamic operational scenarios. Students will interact with diverse communities, produce and present a brief of evidence, and practice conflict resolution and de-escalation. Emphasis is placed on victim care, ethical conduct and the lawful application of police powers in complex situations.
