Additional file 3: Sup Figure 3. Upon AMPA stimulation, no cobalt uptake occurred in the presence of Ca2+-permeable antagonists, GYKI or NBQX, in acute slices taken from mice of all genotypes demonstrating cobalt uptake can only occur through Ca2+-permeable AMPARs.
