It also includes an exploratory qualitative study involving healthcare professionals with expertise in dementia diagnosis identified VR as an innovative tool with better ecological validity than traditional assessments but noted significant barriers such as time, cost, and validity concerns. Overall, these studies suggest VR's promise in dementia diagnosis and cognitive assessment, describing the need for additional resources and tailored implementation strategies to address identified barriers.
