Description
The Mopra CO Survey is a spectral line mapping survey of the carbon monoxide line emission from the Southern Galactic Plane. It was undertaken using the 22m diameter Mopra radio telescope in Coonabarabran in Australia. We provide data sets covering Galactic longitudes from l= 250 deg to 355 deg with latitudinal coverage of at least |b| < 1 deg, totaling an area of > 210 deg^2. These data have been taken at 0.6 arcminute spatial resolution and 0.1 km/s spectral resolution, providing an unprecedented view of the molecular gas clouds along the Southern Galactic Plane in the 109-115 GHz J = 1–0 transitions of the CO molecule in 4 isotopologues: CO (=12CO), 13CO, C18O and C17O. Please see attached Readme and links for more information. Please see this github link for several scripts to perform basic ISM cube processing tasks (sub-cube extraction, moment integration, estimating gas mass) https://github.com/seinecke/ISMCube Comments on the scripts can be sent to [email protected]
