Translational Health Research Institute (THRI) researchers address the complex health challenges of national and global significance, improving the health and wellbeing of people in Western Sydney, across Australia, and globally.

THRI is the public face of the University’s health, medical and wellness research, and operates as an interdisciplinary umbrella organisation with a distributed membership across the University’s Schools and Institutes.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
