Biography

Dr Adam Daniel is a filmmaker and Lecturer in Communication at Western Sydney University. He has published widely on film, television and popular culture, and is the author of “Affective Intensities and Evolving Horror Forms: From Found Footage to Virtual Reality” by Edinburgh University Press. He produced and directed the short films The Replica and A Moment, and produced the short films Mud Crab, Agoge, Portals and Flow. Mud Crab was nominated for an AACTA Award for Best Australian Short Film in 2023.
