Research description

Dr Aland Astudillo is a dedicated researcher with a focus on computational neuroscience, machine learning, and cognitive neuroscience. His research focuses on characterising brain activity and understanding the underlying mechanisms of cognitive decline, particularly in dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), and Parkinson’s Disease (PD). He uses advanced data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms for brain activity data, and he aims to develop innovative tools for early diagnosis and intervention. His work looks for making a contribution to a deeper understanding of brain activity patterns and their association with cognitive impairment.
