Biography
My research explores how infants acquire language by investigating the interplay between speech perception, social interaction, and neural processing. Using behavioural and neural markers of early language development, I answer questions such as “How do infants tune into the sounds of their native language?” and “What role does social interaction play in shaping early speech perception?” I am particularly focused on the dynamic unfolding of language learning, combining longitudinal studies, infant EEG, and behavioural methods to uncover how early experiences shape the foundations of communication and word learning.
