Personal profile

Biography

I am a lecturer in History and Political Thought. I started at WSU as a casual in 2008, after a variety of careers outside the academy, including as a bureaucrat, a researcher and a legal editor. My research interests include late nineteenth and twentieth-century Australian social and political history, particularly feminist political history, and the history of eugenic thinking in Australia. I am currently working on a book on conservative feminist activity in twentieth-century Australia. I am always interested in supervising projects in any aspect of twentieth-century Australian history, particularly cultural and political history.
