Biography

Bronwyn has a strong interest in supporting occupational therapists towards holistic health service provision. Her honours research developed a program towards integrating children with disabilities into the primary school playground.   She has worked as an occupational therapist in community roles including neurological rehabilitation and as an aged care assessment team member.  She joined Western Sydney University in 2002 as a casual lecturer and was appointed to a permanent position in 2017.  Bronwyn’s doctoral research explored how to support student occupational therapists to include client sexual expression in their health service provision.  She teaches into third and fourth year occupational therapy subjects, and is the academic practice education lead and academic program advisor for the occupational therapy program.
