Dr. Atlantis is a distinguished researcher and educator specialising in clinical obesity and its associated chronic illnesses. With a twenty-year track record, they have authored over eighty publications, with 57% as first author, accumulating approximately 7,000 citations. Their research has directly shaped national and international policy and clinical practice guidelines, notably through their leadership of foundational Frameworks for clinical obesity services.

Dr. Atlantis's impressive publication record and the practical influence of their scholarly contributions have positioned them within the top 0.5% of all scholars worldwide. This earned them 'Top Scholar – Lifetime' status for their expertise in obesity, according to the latest 2024 ScholarGPS rankings, acknowledging their career-long accomplishments.
