Genevieve is an experienced pediatric clinician and academic, currently leading the pediatric stream of the Physiotherapy Program at Western Sydney University. She has a long-standing interest in assessing and promoting physical activity in children to optimize their health, well-being, and social participation, particularly for children with disabilities. Her other research interests include the impact of ultra-early therapy on preterm survivors and infants at high risk for poor neurodevelopmental outcomes, the use of extended reality to train students in infant developmental assessment, the development of a novel shoe to assess and train balance in preschoolers, and the use of social robots in pediatric rehabilitation settings.
