Gloria Pino Escobar is a postdoctoral fellow in Early Learning and Multilingualism at the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development. Her interdisciplinary research spans language acquisition, bilingual cognition, heritage language maintenance, and how multilingual experiences shape language and cognitive outcomes across the lifespan. She teaches diverse linguistics and language-related subjects, including introductory linguistics, bilingualism, and interpreting. A NAATI-certified interpreter, language program co-designer, and supervisor of higher degree research and Honours students, she integrates research, teaching, and professional expertise to advance multilingual communication and inclusive language practices.
