Biography
Heath Spong is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Western Sydney University. He has previously held positions at RMIT University and the University of Iowa, and has been a Research Fellow at New York University. His research specializations are institutional economics, economics of public policy, and cost-benefit analysis. His work has been published in highly ranked international and domestic journals, such as Urban Studies, the Journal of Institutional Economics, and the Economic Record. He has also completed funded research as part of cross-disciplinary teams, with recent grants from the Blacktown City Council, NSW Department of Education, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, among others.
