Biography

Dr Jacqui Willis is an Associate Lecturer in Arts at the School of Arts, Western Sydney University. She received her PhD in Culture and Society from the Institute for Culture and Society and has received awards for both teaching and research. Specifically, she has been awarded with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education) Award, the School of Arts Teaching and Learning Award, Australian Postgraduate Award, and the Vice-Chancellor Professional Development Scholarship Award. She was also the co-recipient of a Vice Chancellor's Gender Equity Fund Targeted Gender Equity Initiatives grant in 2023.

Her current research interests include casual academic staff inclusion
, North Korea and intersectional discrimination.
