Personal profile
Biography
Jessica’s background is in animal behaviour and behavioural ecology. Her PhD at the University of Oxford (UK) involved the use of miniaturized GPS trackers to investigate short distance navigation in homing pigeons. She went on to do a Post-Doc at the University of Sheffield (UK) investigating parental and alloparental care in the cooperatively breeding long-tailed tit. Jessica now works at the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment on projects relating to the movement ecology of flying-foxes.
