Biography

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from the University of Hong Kong, I started specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tuen Mun Hospital in Hong Kong.  I undertook subspecialty training in Urogynaecology at the same location and became an accredited Urogynaecologist in Hong Kong.  I came to Australia and I undertook a PhD in Medicine with the University of Sydney and awarded a PhD in 2010. The subject of my thesis was the effect of childbirth on the pelvic floor.  

 

Research interests

My research interest is on the effects of childbirth on pelvic floor structure and function, pelvic floor ultrasound imaging and mesh and sling implants used in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery
