Biography

As a social scientist, I investigate social harm across numerous domains including drug policy and public health, media, popular culture, and relevant methodological considerations. I employ ultra-realist, psychotherapeutic, psychoanalytic, and new materialist perspectives to uncover the complex socio-material relations that generate and alleviate harm and explore how these structures impact people’s psyche and subjectivities within a given socio-cultural context. By developing fresh insights and alternative perspective I seek to drive effective interventions and policy. I aim to bridge theory and practice, making social science relevant to real-world challenges and contributing to a more equitable future sufficient for human flourishing.
