Biography

Dr Rachel White is Senior Lecturer, Learning Environments and Pedagogy in the School fo Education at Western Sydney University. Her discipline is music education, and she has taught music and creative arts in primary and high schools around Sydney and NSW, as well as teaching music and creative arts curriculum to future primary and secondary school teachers. Her research includes work focused on senior secondary music education and teacher quality, but at the heart of all her research is effective teaching - what it looks like, how can it be supported, and why it matters.
