Biography

I am a conservation biologist with a broad interest in nature stewardship. Much of my work includes the use of ecological theories to approach applied problems in sustainability with an aim to generate knowledge that can be directly applied to policy and practice. I hold a deep interest in working at the nexus of society and the environment to promote sustainable outcomes for nature and people. My research spans a variety of ecosystems, and I focus on themes including biodiversity, environmental policy and finance, restoration, and climate change.
