Biography
Dr. Garrido has a background in psychology and music and her research focuses on the use of music and the arts to support mental health and well-being. She has a particular interest in youth mental health and the role of the arts and digital media in modulating mood and emotions. She has expertise in co-design, participatory research and person-centered research and implementation. She has served as a STEM Ambassador to Parliament and is currently a board member of the Arts Health Network of NSW/ACT.
