Abstract
We are building a large scale 3D face database which includes 9 face postures from over 300 subjects. A visualization tool of the principal component analysis results extracted from pre-processed face data of 187 subjects can be applied to create new 3D faces. We also demonstrated estimation examples of 3D faces from a single side view picture and silhouette lines of the unknown faces, and cross-subject face animation between any subjects in the database based on this principal component analysis results.
