Abstract
This paper highlights some major logical problems in Marx’s analysis of the capitalist mode of production. It aims to simplify, clarify and extend some of the arguments originally developed by Ian Steedman, Geoffrey Hodgson and other Neo-Ricardians in the 1970s.
