Abstract

This paper explores a collaborative approach to the ongoing process of developing and delivering a flipped classroom teaching and learning design in an undergraduate cross cultural management unit in a Business Degree. An academic and a specialist designer share their experiences of working together to transform a traditional face to face teaching mode of delivery to a flipped classroom and create an engaging and student-centred learning experience. Teaching and learning activities used in the flipped classroom are described in some detail. The benefits of collaboration have been enhancements to the teaching and learning environment and the impact on student experience and engagement.
