Abstract
This paper studies the consequences of the orthodox masculine sports context in South America over females who train aggressive types of sports such as martial arts. We have observed professional female fighters and looked at her history to understand the problems they face while practicing these sports. We concluded that these combatants are overcoming challenges and stimulating a greater recognition of female fighters in South American countries.
