A Lux Meter and a System for Generating Light Reading Reports

There is provided a lux meter comprising a curved body so as to be usable in a handheld mode of operation wherein the curvature of the body orientates a light sensor of the lux meter substantially horizontally for reading light levels and angles a display device of the lux meter towards a user for ease of reading during operation; and in a in hands-free mode of operation wherein the meter further comprises a kickstand retractable within an undercarriage of the curved body substantially beneath the light sensor such that the kickstand supports the curved body such that the light sensor is substantially horizontally orientated.
