Abstract
Government and industry define over 100 graduate roles in the Australian Government Digital Career pathway position descriptions. However, it is not always clear whether industry or higher education providers will train students to meet the requirements of these new roles. In this article, we compare all Australian accredited undergraduate Information Systems program curricula from 2016 with those in 2022 to highlight where higher education innovations have aligned with government and industry to deliver graduates with the required work skills, and we also present a new more sustainable model for aligning programs with Industry requirements.
