Abstract

Measuring construction performance improvement is the new frontier in observing transformations that will, in the future, redefine the global construction industry. Establishing industry-wide performance measures that provide a line of sight for governments, industry stakeholders and clients to effectively monitor and interpret the many claims made about achievements in this area prove elusive. Despite little disputation over the potential for construction performance to be improved, the necessary connections to make this happen have not yet been able to fully align (Holt and Goulding 2016).
