Abstract

Introduction: Children with autism frequently present with sensory processing difficulties which have a negative impact on their occupational performance at school. Occupational therapists often provide services to support sensory processing in a school setting, however there is limited evidence to guide occupational therapy practice. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of a Sensory Activity Schedule designed by an occupational therapist in consultation with teachers on mastery of teacher designated tasks in the classroom.
