Abstract

Introduction - External cues are effective rehabilitation strategies for training people with Parkinson's Disease (PD) to modify their movement initiation. Most studies looked into its effect in improving gait. There are limited studies investigating its effectiveness in enhancing function in activities of daily living. Objectives - This review examined the effectiveness of external sensory cues as a treatment strategy to improve functional task performance.
