    Abstract

![CDATA[Correspondence analysis (CA) is a tool commonly used in many disciplines to identify the association between two or more categorical variables. Since its development in France during the 1960's the technique has steadily grown in popularity and applicability. This paper presents a very brief review of the history of CA and looks at over 100 articles that have made a contribution to the theoretical development and understanding of the analysis through the decades.]]
