Adult and vocational educators : their changing work and professional development

Roger Harris, Michele Simons

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapter

    Abstract

Drawing on Australian experience, this chapter argues that the work adult and vocational educators now confront, and the demands for managing both the scope and nature of change, far exceed previous experiences in the sector. Data from three Australian studies are used to elucidate this changing context and to present a case for conceiving of new ways to meet the professional development needs of adult and vocational educators.
