After Midnight: Soundscape for Inside, Keyboard and Lightly Prepared Piano

After Midnight draws on sounds heard on a street late at night - a busy thoroughfare by day, late at night street sounds are close and distant, real and distorted, a motor bike on the distant highway, the boobook's call and response, a siren, the rumble of thunder, someone running, music fragments from a far away party, an insect or frog, and a bell. All are woven together through the sustain pedal and compositional technique.
