Abstract

The sculptural artworks “Afterglow, Adagio”, “Exclaim, Disclaim, Ballgame”, “Fade, Persuade, Shade”, “Seaside Stride, Pride Confide”, “Late, Equate Irate”, “Come Around, Lost Or Found”, “Conflate, Restate, Real Estate”, Seek Peak, So To Speak”, “Sibling Quibbling”, “Tour Guide, Bona Fide, Implied”, “Objections, Reflections, Corrections” investigate the role fantasy plays in the practice of collecting, and how that practice offers the collector an opportunity to re-enact and reinterpret significant memories and experiences of a remembered self. Exhibited at the Arthouse Gallery at the Sydney Contemporary Carriage Works, Sydney, 13-16 September 2018.
