Abstract
Employee engagement (EE) has become a strategic necessity for organisations to maintain competitive edge and sustainability. In this modern age, organisations are keen to promote working environments that are empowering and nurturing for their employees at the workplace, which helps enable employees to engage themselves fully to work. However, a variety of EE theories indicate that organisations must protect from burnout with the availability of resources to the employees. AI has been recognised as a vital technology resource offering a variety of benefits to the organizations. However, AI adoption for EE may not work in isolation; therefore, a leadership approach needs to be adopted targeting strategic aspects of organisational life critical to maintaining a competitive edge over the rivals. In this regard, 10 critical aspects of organisational life have been articulated in this chapter.
