Abstract
This commentary responds to the article by Linardon et al. which presents findings from a survey of eating disorder clinicians and people from the community in regard to their experiences and attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical eating disorder practice. This commentary explores the inevitability, benefits, risks, and opportunities provided by AI integration in eating disorder health care. Recommendations are provided for researchers, clinicians, health service providers, and Information and Communication Technology experts.
