Abstract
The purpose of this Child Friendly Cities Action Plan is to develop expand on the goals and objectives of Child Friendly Cities program as outlined in framework and identify activities that can be implemented to activate the program at National, Regional and Municipal level. The Action Plan is organised around goals at the governance level and program level. There is one governance goal with three objectives, operating at a different governance level: national, regional and local municipal level. There are six national governance activities; our regional governance activities and seven municipal level activities. Overall, in governance there is 1 goal, 3 objectives and 18 activities. There are six program goals, each of these aligns with the six pillars of play, safety, health, learning, participation and sustainability. Within each goal there are three objectives, one activity responding to each objective and an indicator for each activity. Overall, there are 6 program goals, 18 objectives, 18 activities and 18 indicators.
