    Abstract

![CDATA[This paper will review the impact of a recent expansion in the teaching of an introductory level employment relations course from two to four locations at one such newer university. It will identify the challenges and issues in delivering a course in a multi-campus institution. Also, this paper will briefly analyse the current paradigm (the adoption of computer-based methods of instruction and administration), which is offered to deal with some of the major issues faced by institutions when providing courses on a number of campuses. The conclusions drawn indicate that such a paradigm and expansions need careful consideration regarding the competencies of students; selection, training and management of teaching staff; and dealing with various organisational subcultures.]]
