Abstract

Electricity is one of the major break-through discoveries of the 19th century. The grid technology assembles state-of-the-art applications of communication and actuation. Smart Grid incorporates Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition and Information and Communication Technology for inspecting and controlling Distributed Energy Resources. Electric grids are the combination of electrical equipment aiding in the transfer of electricity in a nation; the production of electricity has also been commercialized and exported to other National Territories. Industry 4.0 has introduced a new age of linked, smart manufacturing, responsive supply networks to produce tailored products and provide smart services. The term “Cyber Physical System” was coined by the National Science Foundation of United States America in 2006, and describes a complex and broad range of disciplines. The transmission methodologies can include both the traditional transmission of electricity and microgrids.
