Abstract

Appears in TEXT: Journal of writing and writing courses, Vol 24 No 2, 2020. The article is a work of creative non-fiction that uses the experimental form of a letter to the character in the TV series, Mystery Road to engage with questions of gender, genre and culture in the way the character arc of the main character, Jay Swan, has been written and performed.
