Antecedents and outcome of export market learning

    Abstract

    This study investigates the influence of organisational learning mechanisms and learning capability on market learning and export performance. A conceptual framework is proposed and tested using structural equation modelling of data obtained from a sample of exporting firms. The results provide strong support for the hypothesised positive influence of a firm's learning mechanisms and learning capability on market learning which in turn has a significant effect on export performance.
