Abstract

Alcoholic extract of Heliotropium indicum was tested for antimicrobial activity against four strains each of gram positive and gram negative bacteria, three fungi and two yeast by agar cup plate diffusion method. The extract showed a very promising antimicrobial activity against all the selected strains.
