Abstract

In this chapter we reflect on the processes employed in the DPPH"¢ hyphenated method of detection and introduce a new HPLC column technology referred to as active flow technology (AFT). In AFT there are various modes of operation, which include parallel segmented flow (PSF) (Camenzuli et al., 2012a, b, c; Shalliker et al., 2012; Camenzuli et al., 2013) curtain flow (CF) (Camenzuli et al., 2011, 2012d), and reaction flow (RF) chromatographies.
