Abstract
Editorial perspective: Taking into account the positive ï¬ndings of earlier studies and the results presented in this issue of The Journal of Physiology by Pinninger and colleagues, it is evident that oral administration of N-acetylcysteine warrants further research as a potential therapy for DMD with the important caveat that close attention must be paid to any N-acetylcysteine-associated weight loss.
