Abstract

Inflammasomes can be a potential target for the management of chronic inflammatory disease including lung disorders using advanced delivery systems. Pulmonary diseases are a broad category of acute and chronic disease related to the lungs. These diseases primarily include asthma, acute lung injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.
