Abstract

![CDATA[The advent of artificial intelligence has brought the world of higher education to a crossroads. Artificial intelligence (AI), which can be described as the development of computer systems that use reasoning, logic, and other human features to accomplish tasks independently, gives organizations the potential to automate and streamline a range of processes and workflows in their operations. AI can be defined as the development of computer systems that utilize reasoning, logic, and other human traits to perform tasks independently. Though it has existed for over three decades, educators and practitioners are still unsure of how to make widespread pedagogical use of it and how it might affect teaching and learning in higher education. Through a review of studies on AI applications in higher education, this paper aims to provide a general understanding of the prospects, challenges, and ethical considerations surrounding AI uses in higher education.]]
