Abstract
A simple side‐to‐side terminal ileal reservoir was constructed proximal to a continent nipple valve in five dogs using the gastrointestinal anastomosis autosuture stapling device. The reservoir was found to dilate and was able to accommodate large volumes with minimal rise in basal pressure.
