Abstract

This report provides information on the database that has been used in Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR) Project 5 Regional Flood Methods (Stage 3). This data has formed the basis of ARR Regional Flood Frequency Estimation (RFFE) Technique 2015. The data from 853 gauged catchments in Australia have been used to develop the RFFE Technique 2015. Australia has been divided into data-rich and arid (data-poor) areas. There are 798 gauged catchments in the data-rich areas and 55 gauged catchments in the data-poor areas
